Congratulations to Lauren, our 2025 National 360 Team Spirit Winner!! 👏

Lauren started working at National 360 in 2024 as an Early Childhood Practitioner (ECP). From the beginning, she was drawn to the role of an Early Childhood Practitioner because it allowed her to work closely with children and families while also being part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team which we provide here at National 360.
Lauren brings incredible team spirit to her colleagues in Brisbane, and is always keen to keep social activities alive to support wellbeing and team culture. She consistently brings energy, motivation, and joy to the team through creative Fun Fund activities, thoughtful office initiatives, and celebrations that make everyone feel valued. In particular, her morning teas, complete with personalised decorations and often a game or two, show just how far she goes to celebrate others.
We asked Lauren some questions to learn more about her experiences as an Early Childhood Practitioner, highlights from her time working at National 360, the fun team building and bonding initiatives she has implemented within her team, and her goals for 2026. Read her full interview below:
What do you love about being an Early Childhood Practitioner?
What I love most is walking alongside my clients and their families through both the highs and the lows – and coming out the other side recognising just how incredible these kids are. Everything is that bit harder for them, so every little win is actually a massive one.
I also love that the ECP role allows me to do a little bit of everything across different streams, while still being supported through clinical consults and mentoring. No two days are ever the same, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
What have been some of your highlights working at National 360 as an Early Childhood Practitioner?
There have been so many highlights, both clinically and as a team. Clinically, building strong relationships with families and seeing genuine progress over time has been incredibly rewarding.
From a team perspective, one highlight was organising and running a PD morning where I shared more about the ECP role and what a “day in the life” actually looks like. We used games and activities to help other disciplines better understand our stream, and it sparked some really meaningful conversations. I’m also currently planning a Lunch & Learn focused on play into therapy and therapy into play, which I’m really excited about.
Why do you love your team?
I genuinely love my team. Despite differences in age, background, and allied health disciplines, we support each other so well. We celebrate the good days and hold space for the tough ones – because in this work, no two days are the same.
One thing I really value is making sure everyone feels seen, valued, and supported, regardless of whether they’re having a great day or a really hard one. I’ve spent a lot of time this year learning how to sit in that space myself, and I love sharing that mindset with the team.
What has been your favourite team culture activity or fun funds event that you have organised for your team that lead to you winning the Team Spirit Award?
We’ve had so many fun ones! From breakfast catch-ups at cafés, shared lunches, and bringing food into the office, to a full-on team trip to AREA 51 (which was an absolute blast).
I’ve also loved planning Fun Funds morning teas like Valentine’s Day and Speechie Week, organising small Christmas gifts like car kits and therapy-themed air fresheners ( “NDIS approved, smells like report writing”), and setting up our Containers for Change program in the office, which helped fund part of our end-of-year Christmas celebration.
For me, it’s always about the little things that help people feel appreciated and connected.
What goals would you like to achieve in 2026?
In 2026, I’ll continue building my skills as a clinician, and take on more responsibility within the team. I’m really passionate about mentoring and supporting others, and I’ve recently stepped into opportunities like becoming a 360 Kids Champion, which I’m excited to grow into further.
Most importantly, my goal is to keep showing up as the best clinician I can be for my kiddos and their families – supporting them through challenges, celebrating progress, and continuing to grow alongside an incredible team.
