How we can support

Finding and Keeping a Job

What is Finding and Keeping a Job (FAKAJ)?

Finding and Keeping a Job is a Capacity Building support within the NDIS that focuses on helping people prepare for work, find meaningful employment, and feel confident staying in a job. National 360 is excited to offer specialist allied health services to participants on their journey to finding and keeping paid employment!

We know that employment is about so much more than just the paycheck. Engagement in employment creates a sense of purpose, belonging and unlocks doors to so many exciting opportunities!

Finding and Keeping a Job is designed to support people at every stage of their employment journey, from getting job‑ready, to settling into work, to maintaining long‑term employment in a way that works for them.

Rather than simply placing someone into a role, this support is all about building skills, confidence and independence. It recognises that everyone’s employment journey looks different, and that people with disability may need flexible, individualised support to navigate barriers that mainstream employment services don’t always address.

Finding and Keeping a Job (FAKAJ) and the NDIS

Finding and Keeping a Job is a line-item of funding in your NDIS plan, listed under “IDL/Capacity Building”, focused on the employment goals listed on your plan.

We recommend a minimum of 15 hours to get started, but will collaborate with you on available funding to reach your goals!

If you don’t have FAKAJ in your plan, we can help to get you started using your standard capacity building budget, through either a plan variation, or helping to set goals using your existing IDL funding.
