Working at National 360

At National 360, we facilitate a collaborative workplace environment where team members are consulted on workplace practices and initiatives. We do this through actively seeking feedback from all team members both formally and informally, via the administration of anonymous surveys throughout the employee lifecycle and regular informal interactions between our leaders and team members.  The majority of initiatives that we have introduced at National 360 are based on listening to our team members, considering their feedback, and taking actions to address their feedback.

We know that transparency and honesty are core to building a trusting partnership between team members and leaders. It is important to us that open conversations take place with team members throughout the recruitment process and employee lifecycle, with everybody feeling comfortable to ask questions, voice their opinion, and to feel that their feedback is valued and genuinely considered when making decisions. When you join National 360, and throughout your employment, we want to ensure that the information provided to you accurately aligns with workplace practices – ask us anything, and we will give you a straight answer.

I have been with National 360 for 6 months now and I think that the amount of thought, acknowledgement, and support for the employees and what goes into the company to make improvements is amazing. It is really reassuring to know that voices are heard, and feedback is taken on board rapidly. This is by far the best company I have worked for.

360 Careers FAQ’s

Can I work from home?

Yes! At National 360 you have flexibility in where you work. Our clinicians spend a lot of time in the community – visiting clients at home, school, work, or other locations based on their needs. You can also work from home for planning and report writing, and you’ll have access to a local office for team meetings, supervision, professional development, and social interaction.

Our Graduate Program – 360 GO – has been specifically designed for Graduates and Early Career Clinicians who want to work within a community setting.  As a National 360 Graduate you are a permanent employee and will undertake the 360 GO program during your first year with us.  360 GO runs for a full 12 months where Graduates engage in both formal & informal learning, observational sessions, joint appointments, team activities & events and direct and indirect client work. We offer the following four graduate program specialities: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Behaviour Support.

We are well known for providing the most comprehensive supervision and support in the industry, complemented by ancillary learning opportunities to coach and develop the best allied health professionals in Australia. The support you receive as a 360 GO Graduate and early career clinician includes:

  • Observational shadow appointments
  • Joint appointments
  • Self-directed learning
  • 2 hours of weekly clinical supervision
  • Daily Team Leader support
  • Unlimited access to clinical mentoring

We are so fortunate that today we have a range of options to be able to link with and engage our teams.  While our therapists are based in the community, we provide office locations to conduct one on one meetings, team meetings, in-services and group mentoring sessions.  In addition to this, we make the best use of technology to conduct virtual professional development training, webinars, as well as individual supervision.  Quite simply we are able to adapt to the needs of all therapists depending on their needs and location.  This flexibility is appreciated by therapists who are also juggling the needs of work and family.

We believe in professional development and each therapist has access to paid professional development opportunities each year and approved leave days.  Not only that but our extensive internal PD program, professional development video library, National 360 chat forums, group mentoring, and one on one supervision provides our therapists with professional development that we believe is the benchmark in the allied health sector.

You’ll connect with your team throughout every week in regular team meetings where you can share updates, receive support, and stay connected. Teams also meet in person at our offices for clinical supervision, professional development, and the celebration of special events. Beyond this, we hold virtual meetings across regions and states to share knowledge and updates, plus nationwide meetings to bring everyone together. We also run social events and a staff wellbeing program to make sure you feel part of an inclusive and supportive team culture.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme provides funding to people aged 0-65 living in the community with a permanent and significant disability.  This allows them to access the supports, services and early intervention to enable them to build their skills and independence.  For more information on NDIS click here. We have many years of NDIS experience and a fabulous and experienced customer service team who provide our therapists with administrative support.  This allows our therapists to work efficiently and focus their time on their clients.

The support we provide NDIS clients is generally community-based. In this regard, we have the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with clients, work on goals in their own environments and be part of their independence journey.  Building lasting connections with clients, their families, and any other providers who support them inspires us to develop best-in-class therapy services. We are fortunate to provide assessment and therapy services across all ages groups and abilities under the NDIS.

National 360 provides the perfect opportunity to build a career within a large organisation. We like to build our future leaders from within our team and provide the training and development to do so. Clinicians are able to move from a junior level to Supervisor, Team Leader and potentially take on a clinical speciality leadership role. We encourage personal goal setting and will work with our therapists to move them through our senior roles should they wish to follow that path.  We offer leadership training to support and develop our emerging leaders across the business.

We might be a bit biased, but we feel we have a fabulous culture right across the country! We continue to build on this with our employee engagement and wellness program that takes a national, state, team and individual approach to all team members. Work should be fun!

Our roles do involve travel to a client’s home or school, so our clinicians require their own car and current driver’s licence to do their role. We help you to cover your motor vehicle costs. Clinicians travel within their local area, though for some clinicians in regional centres the travel may be further. We also provide exciting opportunities to stretch your wings and provide outreach services in more remote areas! We have clinicians who provide fly-in-fly-out services to some remote communities and we are proud to support clients all across Australia.

Our clinicians are reimbursed at the ATO rate per kilometre that they travel to see clients in the community. Most clinicians receive a few hundred dollars per fortnight to reimburse them for the costs of running and maintaining their vehicle, to perform their role seeing clients in the community.
