When did you start at National 360 and why did you join the company to work in the Allied Health space?
I am very passionate about supporting people with a disability. I commenced employment at National 360 in May 2022 as the Queensland State Manager. When searching for the company with the best fit for me I prioritised a company with good people. When I met Glenn, the CEO, and Heidi, the Managing Director and Founder, it was an easy decision to make.
What do you love most about working at National 360?
I love being able to support therapists to grow both personally and professionally to be their best selves.
What does your role as State Manager involve?
The main part of my day as Queensland State Manager involves creating an environment for my team in Queensland to be able to achieve incredible outcomes for their clients. I also squeeze in stakeholder engagement, business development, business growth activities and lots of meetings and conversations to support this.
Do you have a highlight of your time working at National 360?
I love the team culture at National 360. My favourite time of the week is joining with one of my teams around the state. I look forward to chatting, laughing, eating, and hearing the wins and challenges of their roles. I enjoy watching how they support and care for one another through the ups and downs of the job.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering working in the community health and NDIS space?
The Community health and NDIS space is a fast paced and incredibly rewarding space to work in. You will learn a lot, meet the best people, and literally change the lives of countless people. Choose a role with lots of support, supervision, and opportunities for professional development. The learning never ends.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
I love hiking in nature. I plan to complete the coast trek soon with 3 friends. We are raising money for the Heart Foundation.
