Frequently Asked Questions

What is an allied health provider?

Allied health providers are qualified health professionals who work alongside doctors and nurses to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of physical, developmental, communication, and behavioural conditions. Allied health services focus on improving a person’s independence, function, and quality of life in their everyday environment, whether at home, at work, in school, or in the community.

National 360 is a community allied health provider, which means our therapists come to you. We visit clients in their homes, in schools and childcare centres, in aged care facilities, and in our clinics across Australia. Our allied health disciplines include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Behaviour Support, and Early Childhood Intervention.

National 360 provides Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Behaviour Support, and Early Childhood Services. We also offer a dedicated early childhood program called 360 Kids, telehealth services, outreach support, and assistance with Finding and Keeping a Job.

Our therapists work across all ages and stages of life, from children under 7 accessing early childhood intervention, through to teens and adults with disability, and older Australians in aged care. Services are delivered in the home, community, clinic, or via telehealth, and can be accessed through a range of funding pathways including the NDIS, Aged Care (Supports at Home), Medicare, WorkCover, TAC, and private payment.

Yes. National 360 is a Registered NDIS Provider of Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Behaviour Support and Early Childhood Services, and National 360’s services have been certified to NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.

Only 6% of providers have been certified as meeting the standards set by the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission – National 360 is one of them. As part of the NDIS registration process, audits are carried out every 18 months to ensure strict requirements around safety, quality, and compliance are being met.

National 360 is registered to provide services to NDIS participants in VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, WA, TAS and NT. Our team can help you understand your funding categories, coordinate services, and deliver therapy that is personalised to your NDIS plan goals.

To get started, simply submit an NDIS referral form or call us on 1300 340 440.

Yes. National 360 is proud to provide allied health services to older adults. Whether you self-manage your Supports at Home funding, live in residential care, or have a care manager coordinating your supports, we can work with you to fit our allied health services around your quarterly funding and goals.

We offer services to private clients, clients who have funding via Supports at Home, and Aged Care Provider Partnerships. National 360 partners with aged care providers as an Associated Provider under the Supports at Home program.

Our services for older adults include one-off or ongoing therapy sessions, home safety assessments, falls prevention strategies, equipment trials and recommendations, home modification advice, and brief or full clinical reports. To find out more or to make a referral, visit our Aged Care page or contact our team directly.

At National 360, you can access the same high-quality therapy services through telehealth as you would in person. Using simple video or phone technology, our therapists connect with you wherever you are – at home, in the community, or on the go.

Telehealth is available for all ages and disabilities, and can be combined with in-home or community visits. Through telehealth, you can access all of our Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, and Behaviour Support services Australia-wide.

There are no special apps required, just Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or your preferred device, and our team will guide you through the setup so it’s easy to use. Telehealth is especially useful for clients in regional, rural, or remote areas, or anyone who prefers the convenience of receiving support from home.

Getting started with National 360 is straightforward. You can refer yourself, a family member, or a client by completing one of our online referral forms – we have dedicated forms for NDIS, Aged Care, Private, and Insurance and other funding schemes. Alternatively, you can call us on 1300 340 440 or submit a quick enquiry through our website.

After we receive your referral, you’ll receive a call from our Client Support Intake Team to get started right away. New client referrals can be booked straight in for a clinical intake and needs evaluation appointment with a senior clinician. At the end of your appointment, the senior clinician will find the right local clinician to be allocated to support you, and will advise whether a wait time will apply before they can get started.

National 360 takes a person-centred approach – we don’t assign you a clinician based purely on your location, age, or diagnosis; we take the time to understand you, your background, challenges, and goals.

Yes. National 360 services all of Australia, either face to face, via outreach, via telehealth, or in one of our clinics.

In Victoria, we have regional clinics in Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong, Warrnambool, and Wodonga, as well as telehealth services. In Queensland, we have clinic locations in Townsville, Cairns, and Toowoomba, serving clients across Far North and Regional Queensland. In Tasmania, we also offer mobile therapy services in Launceston.

For clients outside our clinic catchments, we offer outreach visits and telehealth appointments, which means that no matter where you are in Australia (metro, regional, or remote) our therapists can reach you. Contact us to find out what service delivery options are available in your area.

Yes. If your GP has prepared a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP), you may be eligible for up to five Medicare-rebatable allied health sessions per calendar year.

Children may also be eligible for Medicare rebates through programs such as Better Access to Mental Health and Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Disability Services, with a referral from a GP or specialist.

National 360 supports clients who claim a Medicare rebate by collaborating with your GP to ensure all referral requirements are met and guiding you through the referral process so you can focus on achieving your therapy goals. Please note that Medicare rebates generally do not cover the full cost of allied health services, and gap fees will apply depending on the service.

To get started, speak to your GP about a CDMP referral, then contact National 360 to book your appointments.

Yes. At 360 Kids, we provide early childhood services across Australia to children of all ages and backgrounds, whether you pay out of pocket or access funding via NDIS, insurance, or other funding schemes.

Our 360 Kids Early Childhood Approach supports children aged 0–9, but our services don’t end there. We continue to provide support to children throughout their development to adulthood and beyond. Children over the age of 9 are offered ongoing therapy through our allied health teams working in adolescent and adult services.

The NDIS Early Childhood Approach helps children younger than 6 with developmental delays, or children younger than 9 with disability, and their families to access the right support when they need it. Importantly, children younger than 6 do not need a diagnosis to get support through the Early Childhood Approach where there are concerns about their development.

Our children’s services include Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Behaviour Support, and Early Childhood Practitioners – delivered at home, in your child’s school or childcare centre, in clinic, or via telehealth – Learn more about 360 Kids.

Yes. National 360 provides allied health services for clients accessing care through motor vehicle accident schemes, workers compensation programs, and third-party insurers across Australia.

In Victoria, we accept referrals from the TAC (Transport Accident Commission) for clients injured in transport accidents, and WorkSafe Victoria for workers recovering from workplace injuries. In Queensland, we accept CTP claims through NIISQ and workers compensation referrals via WorkCover Queensland. In South Australia, we work with ReturnToWorkSA and the Lifetime Support Scheme. In New South Wales, we work under the SIRA framework including icare and WorkCover NSW. In Western Australia, we accept referrals through ICWA and WorkCover WA.

Our team can guide you through the referral process, liaise with your insurer or case manager, and help you access services quickly and efficiently.

National 360 pairs each client with the clinician that is the best fit to help you achieve your goals. They can travel to see you at home or in the community, via telehealth, or in one of our clinic locations.

We offer four service delivery settings:

  • In your home or community: our therapists travel to you, meeting you where you live, work, or spend time
  • In clinic: we have clinic locations across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, and Tasmania
  • Via telehealth: video or phone appointments, available for all services and all ages across Australia
  • Via outreach: for clients in regional and remote areas

Many clients use a combination of settings, and your therapist can help you decide what works best for your goals and circumstances.

See all our locations.

National 360 takes a person-centred approach to matching clients with clinicians – we don’t assign you a therapist based purely on your location, age, or diagnosis. We take the time to understand you, your background, challenges, and goals.

New client referrals are booked in for a clinical intake and needs evaluation appointment with a senior clinician at National 360. At the end of your appointment, the senior clinician will find the right local clinician to be allocated to support you, and will advise whether a wait time will apply before they can get started.

For children accessing our 360 Kids program, we work with families to choose a service delivery model – single discipline, multidisciplinary, transdisciplinary, or mixed – that best supports their child’s goals, strengths, and stage of development. These models can change over time as your child’s needs change.

Yes. National 360 works directly with schools, early learning centres (ELCs), and childcare settings to deliver allied health therapy where children learn and spend their days.

360 Kids services are available nationwide, and we offer flexible options for service delivery. We can provide services at your child’s care centre or school, in the comfort of your home, or at one of our 360 Kids clinics.

Our therapists, including Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Early Childhood Practitioners, can visit your school or ELC to provide assessments, therapy, and coaching for educators and support staff. This approach helps embed strategies into the child’s natural learning environment, rather than relying solely on clinic-based sessions.

If you are a school or early learning centre looking to establish a referral relationship with National 360, contact our team or visit our Schools & ELCs page to find out more.

Yes, we work closely with support coordinators, plan managers, case managers, aged care providers, and partnering disability organisations across Australia.

National 360 partners with aged care providers as an Associated Provider under the Supports at Home program and can develop a flexible service agreement to suit your organisation’s needs, including single or multi-site coverage, short- or long-term partnerships, fast response times for discharge-critical referrals, and clear communication and shared clinical reporting standards.

For NDIS support coordinators, our streamlined referral process makes it easy to refer participants across any of our service areas. After we receive a referral, our Client Support Team will be in touch right away to book a clinical intake and needs evaluation, and we work alongside participants, families, and support networks to ensure every person receives the right support.

We aim to get you started as quickly as possible. Once your referral is received, our Client Support Team will be in touch right away, and new client referrals can be booked straight into a clinical intake and needs evaluation appointment with a senior clinician.

At the end of that appointment, the senior clinician will find the right local clinician to be allocated to support you, and will advise whether a wait time will apply before they can get started.

Wait times can vary depending on your location, the specific service required, and current clinician availability. Telehealth appointments are generally available more quickly for clients who are willing to start their therapy journey online while awaiting an in-person clinician.

We encourage you to submit a referral or enquiry as early as possible so our team can assess your needs and get the process underway. Call us on 1300 340 440 or complete a referral form to get started.
