National 360 are excited to be running our free “Let’s Get Job Ready” webinar series. We are inviting all Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech Pathology graduates to join us for this 4 part series. You will learn valuable information and gain important skills to help with your transition into the allied health workforce!

To kick us off week 1 will cover Working in Community Based Care, then the series will be joined by Andrea Collins, who has over 20 years’ experience in education, facilitation, competency-based training, change management and leadership development and will provide invaluable information and practical tips to begin your career.

Webinar 1. Working in Community Based Care – October 5 @ 4pm AEDT

This Webinar will cover the role of a therapist in the community based setting, NDIS, Aged Care, the difference between community, hospitals and clinic settings, and the benefits of working in Community Based Care.

Webinar 2. Communication Fundamentals – October 20 @ 4pm AEDT

Building connection with others is core to everything you will do as a therapist and self-awareness is key to building relationships to maximise your effectiveness. In this session we will explore the fundamentals of verbal and non-verbal communication with some helpful tricks and tips to put into action straight away.

Webinar 3. Written Communication in the workplace – November 10 @ 4pm AEDT

Advancements in technology have increased our reliance on effective written communication. Whilst you know how to write it can be helpful to refresh some of the basic rules of Plain English. In this session we will wind the clock back and reintroduce some of the core principles so that the quality of your writing is clear, consistent and professional.

Webinar 5. Time Management – November 24 @ 4pm AEDT

We all have 24 hours per day, 168 hours per week and, 8736 hours per year. We don’t get any more than this, and we don’t get any credits if we don’t use our time. We cannot manage time as such. Time issues are usually symptoms of another cause or problem. In this session we will put the construct of time management into perspective and look at some useful tools planning and organising tools.
