360 GO – A True 12 Month Program
360 GO has been designed by clinical and educational experts, taking onboard valuable insights from previous Graduates. Our aim is to provide a nurturing, encouraging, and highly personalised journey through four key phases within your gradaute year:
Week One: Simulated Practice
A safe and controlled environment, to observe and practice your therapeutic skills and get comfortable with real-life scenarios before your first client session. Week 1 allows you to shadow, observe, explore and familiarise yourself in your new work environment as an allied health professional.
Weeks 2 to 12: Experiential Discovery
The best way to master the art of therapy is through experiential discovery – a dynamic, hands-on approach that immerses you in real-life situations. Weeks 2 to 12 introduce you to your caseload and are all about connecting new learnings to your existing knowledge, with applying your clinical skills in everyday applications. Establish your weekly routine, working as part of a multidisciplinary team in an NDIS community environment.
Weeks 13 to 26: Theoretical Learning
Strengthen your theoretical foundation with interactive and immersive workshops facilitated by our subject matter experts from within your Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, or Positive Behaviour Support discipline. Workshop topics include more complex and in-depth study of diagnoses, assessments, therapy interventions, report writing and specialty areas. Build on your foundational NDIS knowledge, finding the rhythm of delivering community based therapy and managing a full caseload.
Weeks 27 to 52: Individualised Development
As a 360 GO Graduate you will have a caseload and professional development trajectory designed collaboratively between you, your team leader and clinical supervisor. In the last 6 months of your graduate year you to map your pathway to caseload specialisation and clinical to excellence. Plan to explore our structured Learning and Development Programs for generalisation, specialisation or clinical leadership. We’ll be with you every step of the way.
Supervision and Support
Supervision and Support
We are well known for providing the most comprehensive supervision & support in the industry, complemented by ancillary learning opportunities to coach and develop the best allied health professionals in Australia. The support you receive as a 360 GO Graduate and early career therapist includes:
- Observational sessions – for the first five weeks of 360 GO, you will have the opportunity to complete a half day of observation with an experienced therapist every single week. This will enable you to not only observe client appointments, but the pre and post-appointment processes as well. You will observe experienced therapists from your own discipline, and to ensure a true multidisciplinary experience, you’ll also observe experienced therapists from other streams to gain a holistic understanding of community allied health.
- Joint appointments – you will conduct your initial client sessions alongside your Clinical Supervisor, who will provide you with real-time support and feedback. Joint appointments support you to feel confident and competent in delivering therapy in the community setting prior, to independently managing your own client appointments.
- Self-directed learning – our online library has been developed over many years by our Clinical Practice Advisors and National Clinical Leads, covering every topic you can think of! Your Clinical Supervisor and Team Leader will guide you on the best learnings relevant to your interests, skills, experience level and caseload. You can access these learnings at any time and complete them at a pace that suits you.
- 2 hours of weekly clinical supervision – meet with your supervisor 1:1 each week to discuss your caseload, attend group supervision to engage in peer learning, and receive behind-the-scenes support to review your reports & therapy plans.
- Daily Team Leader support – Meet with your Team Leader 1:1 every weeks to develop your caseload management skills, support your understanding of organisational procedures, set achievable personalised goals, and help you manage your wellbeing and work/life balance. As part of a local team with a dedicated team leader, you are supported holistically in every aspect of your role.
- Unlimited clinical mentoring – our Clinical Practice Advisors are subject-matter specialists who host over a dozen mentoring sessions each week. Our CPAs share their knowledge through educational presentations, Q&A sessions, and providing 1:1 clinical consultations for the national team. You will also have the opportunity to be co-allocated alongside one of our subject-matter specialists, to support complex cases and support your specialisation and development.
