National 360 Behaviour Support Services:
NDIS Registered Provider

At National 360 you will be supported by friendly and highly qualified Behaviour Support Practitioners that will work with you to support you to improve your quality of life so that you feel happier and are able to do more things for yourself. Our Behaviour Support Practitioners work with people who engage in behaviours of concern (also known as ‘challenging behaviour’) by developing an understanding of the behaviour displayed based on assessment of the social and physical environment within which it occurs.

Our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) service provides a multidisciplinary team that can draw upon areas of expertise to create comprehensive plans containing individualized strategies that are responsive to the person’s needs, in a way that addresses behaviours of concern. The most important outcome in PBS is that it enhances the quality of life outcomes for the person and those who support them.

If you are calling outside of business hours, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Our local team of Behaviour Support Practitioners will visit you in your home, school, workplace or another community location to provide the support and care you need. In some locations, we have clinics if you would rather come to us. We also provide services via telehealth.

PBS services are available under the NDIS Support Category of Improved Relationships (or Behaviour Support for those with a PACE plan). Our services include:

  • Interim Behaviour Support Plan – for high-risk behaviours and restrictive practices
  • Functional Behaviour Assessments – to understand why behaviours occur
  • Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plan– function based strategies for the prevention of behaviours, reduction of restrictive practices and skill development
  • Plan implementation including training family, carers and staff and regular monitoring

What if I don’t have Behaviour support Funding yet?

If you are not funded for Behaviour Support services in your NDIS plan, we can provide services via your IDL funding. Our practitioners can conduct assessments to determine whether PBS is required and write a recommendations report to assist with funding Behaviour Support in your NDIS plan.

Here is some more information about other services that you may wish to undertake after the Needs Assessment has been completed:

  • Crisis Management Plan – Provides interim response strategies to minimise high risk situations faced by the participant and those around them.
  • Person-Centred Plan – Reviews the environment of concern to develop proactive strategies (such as communication, health, hobbies, physical environment changes) to help increase quality of life and manage behaviours and emotions without the need for a Functional Behaviour Assessment.
  • Skill Development Plan – Develops skills with the participant and sets goals, protocols, outcome measures and intervention sessions for those around the participant to implement long-term to reduce the risk of harm related to behaviours.
  • Training & Education Package – Delivers a comprehensive training package to family, carers or staff, tailored to support needs to reduce behavioural risks.
